Support Local Girl Scouts Every Time You Shop!

As the season of giving (and shopping) gets into full swing, we wanted to let you know some easy ways you can give to local Girl Scouts… at no cost to you! Many companies offer programs that provide rebates or donations to nonprofit organizations when you shop at their stores or use their services. Here are some of our favorites, broken down into a few simple steps:

AmazonSmile
Step 1:
Go to http://smile.amazon.com/ch/94-1582429
Step 2: Log into your Amazon.com account from there.
Step 3: Shop! 🙂

Every eligible purchase you make on AmazonSmile will result in a donation to Girl Scouts Heart of Central California, because the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price from your eligible AmazonSmile purchases.

Save Mart S.H.A.R.E.S. Card Program
Step 1:
Request a card by emailing your name and address to funddev@girlscoutshcc.org.
Step 2: Receive your shiny new S.H.A.R.E.S. card in the mail and pop it in your wallet to carry with you.
Step 3: Shop for groceries and swipe your card when you check out.

Your S.H.A.R.E.S. card allows you to support Girl Scouts Heart of Central California by simply bringing a S.H.A.R.E.S. card along each time you shop at Save Mart, Lucky, FoodMaxx and S-Mart grocery stores. For more information, visit savemart.com/shares.

Raley’s Something Extra Program
Step 1: Go to raleys.com/extracredit to enroll in the Something Extra program.
Step 2: Once enrolled, select Girl Scouts Heart of Central California as your Extra Credit organization. Search for us by name or the zip code 95819.
Step 3: Swipe your card or enter your “loyalty number” when you check out.

Thank you for thinking of GSHCC when you shop ‘til you drop! If you have any questions, please contact funddev@girlscoutshcc.org or call 916 453-5215.
