Hello, hello!

Welcome to another incredible summer at Camp Menzies! My name is Aster and I’ll be your virtual counselor this season, bringing the Camp Menzies magic to life through our GSHCC blog series: Tales From Camp. #talesfromcamp

Summer programs kick off next week and we’re all busy as bees getting camp ready for the arrival of our Girl Scout campers. We have some amazing staff from all over the world this summer and they can’t wait to meet all of you. Throughout the summer I’ll be posting updates to the blog with awesome stories as well as pictures, exclusive staff interviews, and all kinds of other fun stuff. Be sure to follow along in our Camp Menzies journey and feel free to leave comments on each post.

A little more about me: I’m in my last college year, studying biology and chemistry and I’m so excited to be back up at camp. This will be my thirteenth summer at camp—including my years as a camper—and I hope all the returners are super excited, as well as everyone coming up to experience the magic for the first time. The first camp session is just a few short weeks away, so I hope everyone is getting sleeping bags out from the garage and dusting off flashlights because you’ll be up in the pines soon.
