Traveling with Girl Scouts isn’t your typical vacation. On these trips, you’ll make friends from all over the country and worldwide while experiencing the Girl Scout leadership keys to Discover, Connect, and Take Action, and do badge work along the way.  These trips are sponsored by councils across the country and are for all Girl Scouts ages 11 to 17.

Applications are now being accepted for Girl Scout Destinations; the deadline for round 1 applications is fast approaching on November 15, with rolling deadlines for trips extending to February 1.

This year there are 61 trips being offered to Girl Scouts to travel all around the world, some of the exciting places to go are…

Astronomy Camp at University of Arizona from 6/30/17-7/4/17—on this trip you will use mountaintop telescopes at the Catalina Observatories atop scenic Mt. Lemmon in southern Arizona to explore the sky both day and night, creating your own observations and images.

In partnership with the Student Conservation Association girls can go on a fully funded trip “and make a difference in our national public lands!  This program will offer you a chance to visit places you’ve never seen before; camp with other girls in the eld to enjoy nature at its best, and work harder than you imagined you could for the benefit of the environment.”

Get Ready for Galapagos from 7/3/18-7/11/18—because of the extent of preparation for this trip will take place in the summer of 2018.  On this trip you will get to discover the wonders of Ecuador including the Galapagos Islands. Retrace the footsteps of Charles Darwin & come face-to-face with some of the world’s most diverse wildlife. On the mainland, your group will visit the Equatorial Line and enjoy a salsa lesson.
